We aren't sure what happened but our computer won't work. My photos for today's post are on that computer, so I decided to make a video instead from my laptop. This is the first time I've don't this so excuse the speed talking ;) Here I am in all my pudgy glory ;)
For some reason the video won't embed so here's the link until I can get it to work...
Here's a little run down of what I said, so you can actually understand ;)
My DH, Matthieu and I are kind of traditional when it comes to finding out the sex of our babies. We like the surprise :D Actually, we thought Juliet was a boy for about 10 mins, Matthieu did the classic Daddy 'oops' when he saw the umbilical cord LOL!! It's really hard to find nice unisex newborn stuff, of course I wanted to make some things as well. I got some inspiration after following my friend Cendrine's blog. She was due a month before me and has her 2 older kids in school and a husband who travels so she made LOTS of beautiful things for her baby. I made this little romper out of Liberty of London fabric. It was soooo hard to find Liberty without flowers in a gender neutral colour, I made a challenge out of it and I love what I found ;)
With Juliet, Helen had lent me cardigan sweaters that her mom had knit up for Tom. Let me tell you, there is NOTHING more practical for a baby than a cardigan! And there's nothing cuter than a knit hoodie cardi ;) So I made this one for my Nutmeg (I always nickname my babies before they are born). Again, with the green, this will be great in the fall, and depending on the sex, I can either stitch on the fun little tractor button or the crocheted flower from my friend Stéph. Here's the link to the baby sweater pattern.
I'm a scrapbooker so I love making birth announcements as well. Since they haven't gone out yet, I can only give you a sneak peek, green seems to be my theme this time around. Prepped before the birth up to the date, name, and other important info, they are quick to put together even when I'm still in the hospital.

just wanted to add here that the Liberty fabric is not snug, but pepper! Steph really knows her liberty of london, as soon as she saw it IRL she knew it was pepper! :D
